Read along to learn more about Karen Nichol's 2024 highlights and future career goals. Also, get the inside scoop on some of her fun holiday traditions!

1. What is your most memorable moment from 2024?

I think the winner for this category has to be an impromptu summer getaway to Penticton for four amazing nights! It was such a treat to enjoy some needed downtime filled with fun adventures. Between biking to wineries and OK Falls, trying out some fantastic new restaurants, swimming, floating, and diving into a summer fun novel, it was the perfect mix of relaxation and fun.

2. What was your biggest learning lesson or takeaway from 2024?

Change is the name of the game! 2024 brought its fair share of shifts for the clinic, from team transitions to exciting renovations. As a business owner, I've learned the importance of staying adaptable and embracing these changes as opportunities for growth. While it’s easy to settle into comfort zones, it’s through change that we continue to evolve and improve.

3. What do you hope to accomplish professionally in 2025?

Not to jinx it, but I’m really hoping the Warriors make it to the postseason this year! It would be incredible to experience playoff lacrosse with such a hardworking and dedicated group of players.

4. If you had to describe 2024 in 3 words, what would they be?

Dynamic, challenging, eventful
