Paige Payne - Physiotherapist

Read on to learn more about Paige’s highlights from 2025, her future career goals, and some of her fun holiday traditions!

1. What are you most proud of accomplishing – professionally or personally – in 2025?

This year, I am most proud of successfully knocking off the first-year of working as a physiotherapist! I’m also super proud of myself for picking up a couple of

new sports including mountain biking and golfing.

2. What’s your go-to piece of advice you found yourself repeating to patients this year?

STRETCH?! So many people have come in with aches / pains that were mainly due to lack of stretching after doing their sport’s games or weekend warrior

activities.

3. If you could describe your year in one word, what would it be (and why)?

If I could describe this year in one word it would be “speedy” because it has absolutely flown by with work / soccer / exploring / new activities.

4. What’s one goal you have for your practice or professional growth in 2026?

I want to continue to increase my hands-on skills and manual therapy techniques. I plan to take some more courses for this, and I am excited to use these techniques on my patients throughout the New Year.

Festive Questions:

1. If you could invent a new holiday tradition, what would it be?

If I could invent a new holiday tradition, it would be that the city of New West blocks a nice hilly street where the whole community comes together and goes crazy carpeting / sledding and has hot chocolate on the first big snowfall.

2. What holiday character do you most identify with?

I would probably relate most to Buddy the Elf, because I absolutely LOVE Christmas, sweet treats and singing in stores. “I’m singing!! I’m in a store, and I am singing. I AM IN A STORE, AND I’M SINGING!”

3. If you were giving a gift to everyone in the clinic, what would it be?

If I were to give a gift to everyone in the clinic it would probably be some sort of vacation with a spa retreat because these people work so hard and could all use some relaxation!

4. If RCP had a holiday mascot, what would it be?

Obviously a Red Salmon with a green christmas hat for the Salmon Bellies!!
