Healthy Buying (August 2017): New West Summer Farmers Market

With only a few weeks left of summer, why not head over to New West Farmers Market to support an array of local businesses selling their delicious products? Whether you're wanting to stock up on fresh produce, decadent cheese and meat products or even pick up some craft beer or local wine, New West Farmers Market has such a variety of vendors that everyone is sure to find something that will satisfy their taste buds. Plus, you can work out your shoulders (our physical focus for the month of August) by carrying all your shopping bags around the market.

Not only do they have their regular assortment of vendors, New West Farmers Market also features Food Trucks for those who can't quite wait to get their food home. There is also plenty of entertainment for the whole family with live music and even activities for kids like face-painting!

You can even sign up for a membership and tomorrow, August 10th, is a special member appreciation day where you can get access specials and perks throughout the Farmer's Market. If you're interested, you can sign up here:

Shopping at a Farmers Market isn't just about the amazing food and other products you can buy there, it's about building a sense of community with your fellow New Westminsterites while supporting local businesses which aligns perfectly with our values at Royal City Physio! The New West Summer Farmers Market is located in Tipperary Park, New Westminster and runs every Thursday, 3pm-7pm, from now until October 5, 2017.
