May is #GetHipwithit month across our social media and what better way to exercise and #keepmoving your hips than to bike? Therefore, our neighbours just down the street at Cap's Bicycle Shop are this month's 'Healthy Buying' reccomendation.
Cap's Bikes has been around since 1932 which is the original Cap Bike's and also features a Bike Museum. The current owner is the son of the original owner and has kept up the family tradition by running the current store in Sapperton. They boast an expert staff who is able to answer almost any cycling-related question and is dedicated to finding the perfect product for you.
Cap's not only sells bikes and other related accessories but also provides tune-up and repair services. They can find you the perfect bike or make sure your current one is in perfecting working condition. Don't quite know what you're looking for but want to try something out? They also have great rental options!
Much like our own #keepmoving motto, Cap's is: "Get Back Into Cycling”, encouraging New Westminsterites to jump back on their bikes. Along with this idea, they also offer some training clinics for varying levels of skill and experience. If you're interested in a clinic you can find out more here.
Cap's Bikes have also graciously donated a prize to our 'Colours 4 Kids' event which is on June 24th. We are incredibly thankful to our neighbouring business for their support and genorisity.
