'Why Tie-Dye?' With Jayme Gordon

Royal City Physio is quickly warming up to our 'Colours 4 Kids' fundraiser for KidSport New West on June 24th. With only a little more than a month leading up to it, we want to share why this event and cause is so important to the clinic and our community. In the upcoming weeks, each of our physiotherapists will be sharing why they are excited for 'Colours 4 Kids' and why you should be too in the segment: 'Why Tie-Dye?' First up to share their colourful thoughts: Jayme Gordon.

What are you most excited about the ‘Colours 4 Kids’ event? What can people look forward to on June 24th?

I'm excited to see how everyone's t-shirts turn out. But I'm most looking forward to watching the dunk tank!

Why do you think it’s important that we support causes like ‘KidSport New Westminster’?

I am a firm believer that finding a sport or activity that someone truly loves to do is the best was to promote life long engagement in physical activity. Aside from the physical benefits, sports provide an opportunity to be part of a community.

Growing up sports played a huge role in my life and I think that every kid should have the opportunity to play. KidSport New Westminster is a great organization that makes this possible.

What colours will be using for your tie dye creation?

All of them, the more colourful the shirt the better!

We hope that you are getting as excited as we are for this exciting day. Join us on June 24th for a colourful afternoon of tie-dye, games and prizes all in support of KidSport New Westminster!
