Chris Chen - Physiotherapist, Clinic Director
Read along to learn more about Chris Chen's 2025 highlights and future career goals. Also, get the inside scoop on some of his fun holiday traditions!
1. What are you most proud of accomplishing – professionally or personally – in 2025?
I am proud of the balance I achieved this year. I was able to pursue more professionally, taking on more responsibilities at the clinic while also taking some time to myself. The highlight was a trip out East with my childhood friend, we visited Montreal, Boston and New York. Some great meals and great times were had!
2. What’s your go-to piece of advice you found yourself repeating to patients this year?
It starts with one. For patients, there can be difficulty in starting to change habits or do exercises. I have reminded each one to start with one. Sometimes that is all it takes, and it will slowly snowball into more!
3. If you could describe your year in one word, what would it be (and why)?
Exciting! I had some new experiences and look forward to more in 2026!
4. What’s one goal you have for your practice or professional growth in 2026?Â
I want to build my toolbox. I am excited to be taking courses to work on my skills working with runners and people with lower extremity injuries. I have already signed up for them and cannot wait to put some of my new skills to use in 2026.
Festive Questions:Â Â
1.If you could invent a new holiday tradition, what would it be?
I would love to have a day where everyone has to wear a Christmas sweater. No matter what you do or who you are! Just to bring a little extra cheer and fun for the day!
2. What holiday character do you most identify with?
Rudolph! During the holidays my nose may turn red too! An unfortunate genetic trait.
3. If you were giving a gift to everyone in the clinic, what would it be?
More time! We all want more time for fun and for our patients!
4. If RCP had a holiday mascot, what would it be?
No idea! Hope someone comes up with a good one!
