Healthy Snacking (December): Pineapple Salsa

Want the perfect appetizer that is sure to warm up any holiday party or just make a delicious afternoon snack? This Pineapple Salsa recipe brings a bunch of tropical flavour with a refreshing and hydrating crunch that will trick your tastebuds into thinking your snacking on the beach.

What you'll need:

1/2 a pineapple

2 limes, juiced

1 cucumber

1 Jalepeno pepper

1 small sweet onion, Maui or red

1 bunch of cilantro

1 dash of cumin

1 dash of salt

The steps:

1. Cut pineapple, cucumber, pepper, and onion into small cubes. Make sure that onion is especially well diced. Combine all ingredients thoroughly.

2. Juice limes, add cilantro and salt to mix.

3. Enjoy!
